Krisin Rux

Board director

Kristin Rux is a native Oregonian, hailing from the southern part of the state where she grew up surrounded by the vast expanse of national forests. During high school she participated in several plays and attended the Shakespear festival where she gained a love and appreciation for the theater. While attending Oregon State University for her undergraduate degree, she met her husband at a fire department and they have been volunteering for the last 20 years.  She continued her education and now works as a Learning Partner for the State of Oregon and enjoys helping people learn and grow. 

Being presented with the opportunity to serve on the board of directors for the Salem Orchestra was not something she had anticipated, but, when given the opportunity, she leapt at it, eager to help this amazing organization in any way she could. When not serving as a board member, Kristin can be found exploring the world, participating and enjoying as many experiences as possible.
