Spring Chamber Concert
An intimate concert of chamber music

Join us for a captivating evening of classical music as we present a concert featuring some of the most iconic works of the 19th and 20th centuries. From the lively and whimsical Octet for Clarinet, Horn, Bassoon, and Strings by Jean Françaix to the soaring melodies of Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, this concert will showcase a wide range of emotions and musical styles. Grieg's hauntingly beautiful Two Melodies and Stravinsky's thrilling The Soldier's Tale will complete the program, creating a musical journey that is both diverse and unforgettable.

Join us Friday, July 29 for our 3rd annual Salem Orchestra Music Academy end of camp concert. We are thrilled to be hosting local students all week for an enriching educational experience with Salem Orchestra professionals. Witness what the students learned throughout the week in small ensembles and also a full group piece performed side-by-side with Salem Orchestra professional musicians.

Tchaikovsky Swan Lake Side-by-Side

Presenting the first ever side by side concert featuring Salem Orchestra and Salem Youth Symphony. Come enjoy Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and more as the talented professionals and students of the Willamette Valley come together for an inspirational collaboration. Artistic Directors Jon Harris-Clippinger (Salem Youth Symphony) and Christopher Noel (Salem Orchestra), will lead the groups individually, and then all together for a moving finale of Swan Lake. Come support local professional musicians and the blooming and talented youth of the Willamette Valley.

Spring Revival
A concert driven by perseverance and hope

Two years (almost to the day) from the first shut down, Salem Orchestra is ready to open new doors and bloom with the freshness of spring. Thank you to all of the donors who continued to support us throughout the pandemic. Hopefully the freeze of winter is behind us and we can blossom and flourish like the young buds peaking through the soil. The repertoire for this concert is inspired by perseverance and the gentle new growth that comes with spring.

We are excited to share with you that our education program is back! We are thrilled to be hosting local students all week for a diverse educational experience with Salem Orchestra professionals. Please join us this Friday, July 30 for the end of camp concert. Witness what the students learned throughout the week in small ensembles and also a full group piece performed side-by-side with Salem Orchestra professional musicians.

Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and in alignment with the recommendation of OHA, we will be requiring masks indoors for all attendees regardless of vaccination status. We appreciate your understanding in our desire to keep everyone safe at this time.
